Discovering the Wine Garden of England
My journey around the Wine Garden of England started long before the Members Club existed. It was a visit to Gusbourne with my sister back in 2021 that opened our eyes to the amazing wine tourism we have in this country. At the time very few people knew about it, and it sparked the idea for my Best British Bubbly website. We were excited to discover more and a couple of years later spent a blissful weekend based in Tenterden where we enjoyed a tour & tasting followed by sup

Urban Wineries are on the increase and are the perfect way for city-dwellers to experience English wines and learn more about winemaking. One of the key differences from visiting a vineyard (apart from the obvious lack of vines) is that you’ll be tasting wines made with a variety of grapes, often grown in different soil types. Urban Wineries carefully select the producers they work with and have the ability to blend grape varieties from different growing regions to create som

Get creative at a vineyard
I’ve always thought vineyard tasting rooms offered the perfect environment to inspire creativity, but as someone who seems to be missing the artistic gene I was a bit scared to put the theory into practice. The opportunity to paint a wine bottle at Blabers Wine Estate in Warwickshire, run by the talented Amy from Brush & Easel , proved too tempting and I decided to give it a go. The cosy fire, glass of wine and creative place setting immediately put me at ease and there was

Whilst packages can vary, most include a plaque on the vine, a visit to the vineyard with tour and tasting, a bottle o
