Fizz Favourites

There really is something for everyone this month with so many different experiences taking place.

Artisan stalls, live music and a unique chance to pick some grapes to take home. A fantastic way to spend Sunday afternoon.

Pilates followed by a delicious lunch and glass of wine. What a treat.

An exciting collaboration as part of TASTE Worcestershire. Enjoy a tasting of Astley’s award-winning wines paired with canapes made from exceptional produce from Macneils Smokehouse.

A pop-up indoor market featuring a wide range of local businesses. Combine with a lovely walk around the many public footpaths on the estate.

No need to wait until Christmas to get creative. Stag Cottage Flowers will inspire you to make a beautiful autumnal wreath.

Looking ahead to next month, here’s a unique city-based event:

Festive Fizz, 29 November, Guildhall Winchester – a fantastic event organised by Vineyards of Hampshire giving you the opportunity to taste wines from 8 of the county’s top vineyards all in one place. Great for choosing gifts and treating yourself.

Unmissable harvest celebrations

As the grape picking comes to an end, the celebrations begin. From harvest suppers and parties to one-off specially curated tasting events, there’s lots going on. There’s even a chance to get hands on with the ‘dosage’ stage of sparkling wine making. Read the blog for a roundup of fabulous harvest events taking place around the country this month to mark the pinnacle of the vineyard calendar.

Llanerch Vineyard in South Wales, Halfpenny Green in Staffordshire, Knightor Winery in Cornwall, Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey, the Winemakers Kitchen at Balfour Winery and the Restaurant at Squerryes Winery – both in Kent. If you’re visiting Sussex there’s no shortage of options: Tinwood Estate, Bolney Estate and Flint Barns at Rathfinny Estate are all serving up fabulous roasts with all the trimmings.

Use the Vineyard Finder to locate the best vineyard experiences for you. There's plenty open all year round.
