Soak up the Wine Festival vibe

The number of fabulous festivals, wine fairs and celebrations is growing every year and whether you’re looking for a regional event bringing together several vineyards or a full-on party at one vineyard there’s plenty of fantastic events to choose from.
Canterbury Wine Festival takes place on 15/16 May at Westgate Hall where you’ll find 16+ Kent wine producers from award-winning household names to family estates and boutique vineyards. There are masterclasses available and some delicious food options that pair perfectly with the wines.
Staying in Kent, the Wine Garden of England Summer Celebration takes place on 6 June. This year it is being held at The Castle, Westenhanger and brings together all 9 producers that make up the Wine Garden of England for a fun, outdoor event which includes live music and street food stalls.
The Albury Wine Festival is taking place at Albury Vineyard near Guildford on 7 June as part of Surrey Hills Wine Week. There will be a special masterclass showcasing wines from across Surrey Hills vineyards and of course all the festival staples including food and live music.
English Wine Week (20-28 June 2026) offers lots of great collaborative events.
IEWA English Wine Fair Summer is on 20 June at Averys Wine Cellar, Bristol. The independent English Wine Awards have been running for 10 years and following the success of their first wine fair last year they’re running two events in 2026 (there’s a Winter one on 28 November too). You can sip and sample your way around 15 award-winning vineyards / wineries whilst chatting to the people behind the bottles.
The Great Yorkshire Wine & Fizz Festival is taking place at Yorkshire Heart on 27 June. The Yorkshire Vineyard community are out in force with 12 vineyards offering tastings. Again you can expect live music, plenty of food options and you can even booking camping on site to enjoy the full festival vibe.
This year’s Hampshire Fizz Fest is taking place on 28 June at Hambledon Wine Estate, the birthplace of English Wine. All 8 members of Vineyards of Hampshire will be pouring their wines and tickets will include one of two allocated 2 hour tasting sessions. The rest of the time you can enjoy food, live music, masterclasses and vineyard tours.
Bredon Wine Fair is being held on 11 July at Deer Park Vineyard in Worcestershire. Taste wines from a number of Midlands producers and enjoy masterclasses, vineyard visits, live music and great food.
If your priority is to party there are also vineyards hosting their own large-scale special events and parties.
Balfour Winery in Kent has a number of big events planned in 2026 kicking off with the Spring Celebrations from 23-25 May. Expect wine talks, the opportunity to wander through the vines, great entertainment (live music and DJs) and of course great wines.
Tinwood Estate in Sussex are putting on two big events this year. Their Summer Party in collaboration with Stylish House Events takes place on 30 May and has a host of entertainment including live DJs, musicians and vocalists. On 22 August they are holding a Garden Party with a live performance from UK Queen tribute and Andy Norman on the decks. The perfect summer vineyard vibe.
Oastbrook Estate in Sussex host an annual Summer Party to round off English Wine Week on 27 June. There will be the opportunity to try all their recent releases, enjoy BBQ buffet lunch and listen to Brazilian music.
Kinsbrook Vineyard in Sussex are hosting a family-friendly summer festival on 27/28 June promising two days of wine, music, food and good times.
Look out for details of the Mammoth Day Out at Saffron Grange in Essex which usually takes place early September. Mallard Point Vineyard & Distillery in Rutland host an annual Grape Grazing Festival – a pre harvest event with food, Tipi Bar and music also usually in September.
With so many great events to choose from it is time to start planning your summer of English wine.
