There’s also some wonderful outdoor theatre and live music events coming up over the summer. And if you’re feeling energetic there’s inspiration for running in the vines.

Outdoor theatre in the vines
Outdoor performance are a summer treat but there’s something really special about a vineyard setting where the refreshment will include wines made from the surrounding vines.
Westwell Wines in Kent are hosting two outdoor ‘theatre in the vines’ productions this summer. On Saturday 5 July you can enjoy the Pantaloons playful and inventive adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense & Sensibility and on Saturday 9 August you can expect much fun and merriment with Robin Hood.
The Sudden Impulse Theatre Company are bringing Shakespeare’s Much Ado about Nothing to Blabers Hall Wine Estate in the West Midlands on Saturday 5 July. Book through Ticket Source.
There’s also lots of vineyards offering live music. Check out the Vineyard Vibes series at Sandridge Barton in Devon and Music on the Lawn at Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey.
