The sparkling season is upon us and vineyards around the country have some extra special events to help you countdown to Fizz-mas in style. It’s not too late to catch a Christmas fayre at a vineyard and you’ll also find some ideas for unique and special gifts for vineyard lovers. Cheers!

This is how I'd like to spend my December!
Friday 13th December, Dunesford, Yorkshire
Enjoy an evening of carols by Ouseburns Choir with platters, wine and a sing-along.
Friday 20th December, Albourne Estate, Sussex
Carols performed with live pianist and washed down with wine and canapes.
Christmas Eve, Artelium, Sussex
A wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve – a lavish plateau de fruits de mer served with Artelium’s award-winning sparkling wine.
Enjoy a decadent 7 course feast in the Michelin Green Star restaurant at Tillingham, East Sussex. You can build up your appetite with a ramble across the estate beforehand.
Friday 27th December, Woodchester Valley Vineyard
Sample a trio of Woodchester Valley sparklers alongside a fizz quiz with prizes to be won! What a great way spend time between Christmas and New Year.

The Gallery restaurant is offering 3 courses, a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and bottomless still wine
Westwell Wines, Kent
What a great way to start 2025. A bracing walk around the vineyard (dogs welcome) and then enjoy a bacon (or mushroom) butty and a glass of fizz in the winery.
