If you like yoga and wine then what could be better than yoga in the vines? Throw in a beautiful sunset and a campfire to gather around after your practice and you’ve got the perfect evening.
From Yorkshire to the South Coast yoga enthusiasts are connecting with the earth, body and sole at one-off events or regular summer classes.
We went to the stunning Astley Vineyard in Worcestershire and after meeting our teacher Laura in the beautifully-designed Tasting Room we were led on a short woodland walk to the vineyard.
Practicing yoga outside with all the natural sights and sounds is such a different experience to being in a studio. Watching the constantly changing sky as clouds float across while the setting sun casts different lights in the vines is magical.
At the end of the class we made our way to a lovely seating area where the fire pit had been lit and glasses of Astley’s Sparkling Baccus were waiting. A delicious glass of easy-drinking fizz was the perfect way to round off this relaxing evening.
