Sensational wines, outdoor terraces, live music, special events – it’s all going on at vineyards across the country this August. We’ve highlighted five standout events, pulled together a rundown of music in the vines and got some inspiration for vineyard volunteering. Cheers!
Fizz Favourites - 5 standout events!
Delicious food and live music at the Wine Estate that won 8 trophies at the recent WineGB Awards, including Supreme Champion.
An afternoon at the vineyard with Naked Fish providing delicious food. Tickets include a glass of Skylark Fizz. You can combine with a scenic 5k run organised by Glow Run Club.
A unique chance to sample wines from 7 fabulous regional wine producers at a stately home with its own walled-garden vineyard! There will be live music and food options including a bbq. There’s accommodation onsite too so it’s easy to make a weekend of it.
Tinwood’s vines will backdrop a stunning day of live music. With a focus on Jazz and Swing music there’s vocals from Tara Macdonald, of Strictly Come Dancing fame, the Tom Fitzpatrick Band, and The Little BIG Band. Tickets include your first glass of fizz.
Simpsons Wine Estate will be visiting Gingerly Green Flower Farm for a tasting in the flower field so you can cut your own flowers and enjoy the still and sparkling estate-grown wines with a stunning backdrop.

Let’s jazz things up a bit! If you enjoy music and wine then how about combining the two at a vineyard? Volunteering in the vines
Get back to nature, learn new skills and maybe head home with a bottle of wine! Whilst opportunities to volunteer at vineyards during the busy harvest period are becoming more well known, many boutique vineyards offer opportunities to get behind the scenes and help out with a wide range of tasks throughout the year.
