There’s loads of Easter fun to be had at vineyards around the country this long weekend. Some events require booking but there’s also lots of vineyards welcoming drop-ins. And there’s so many different things you can do.
How about discovering new wine releases, going on a vineyard walk, browsing in a vineyard market or just having some family fun? Here’s a few suggestions but you can use the vineyard finder to look for vineyards wherever you’re going to be over Easter.
Cork Hunt, Chapel Down, Kent – Easter weekend
Hunt the corks and adults can win a glass of sparkling wine and children can win a chocolate egg. Free to enter and no need to book.

Take an Easter walk at Bluebell Vineyard Estates, Sussex whose name is derived from the carpet of bluebells that come up every Spring – and they are looking great right now. There’s a number of walking trails and you can enjoy their Hindleap sparkling wines on the seated terrace open Thursday-Sunday. On Easter Saturday, walk the nature trail at The Rutland Vineyard, count how many hares you see and then enjoy the tasting barn. easter treats for juniors (while stocks last).
Here's a few options if you want to visit a vineyard market.
Enjoy a day of wine, shopping, music and fun.
The first monthly market of the season bringing together local food producers and artisans in the beautiful countryside.
Loads of fabulous easter fun including egg hunt, lambs, chicks, garden games, local craft and food stalls.
There are loads of fabulous vineyards where you can try a wine flight or get wine by the glass. Many are family-owned business where you can hear directly from those involved in the wine’s production. Here’s a special event that caught my eye:
